The BactoSfera ORBB Jalousie 15 is designed to disinfect the air in rooms up to 30 m² whilst people are present. Its design utilises the ozone-free BactoSfera BS 15W T8/G13-OF bactericidal lamp, which has an effective service life of up to 9,000 hours and stable radiation with a peak at 254 nm. Thanks to this high-quality UV source, the unit effectively destroys microbes, eliminating the need for ventilation.
Human safety is ensured by a louvre screen. This system directs the rays parallel to the floor, covering the upper part of the room whilst excluding the lower area. The reflected ultraviolet light is absorbed by the black matt coating on the grille. The irradiator is mounted at a 90° angle to the wall at a height of 2.2 metres.
The design of the model facilitates rapid air purification. The device operates on the basis of the following principles:
